The History of Italian Textile Machinery on Display at ITMA Milano 2023

Reconstructing the memory, values, and technological evolution of the Italian textile machinery industry through a photographic journey and stories: the exhibition “SHAPING THE FUTURE – The heritage and uninterrupted evolution of the Italian Textile Machinery Industry” will take place during ITMA 2023. The exhibition is organized and promoted by ACIMIT in collaboration with MAECI (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation) and ICE – Italian Agency for the promotion and internationalization of Italian companies.
It is a captivating, emotional and engaging journey that describes the evolution of Italian manufacturing from the last century to the present day, with the support of approximately 40 member companies that have provided nearly 500 photos in order to tell their story through a single path.
The exhibition will be held in the LOUNGE CASA ITALIA (Gemini Room) at the Service Centre of Fiera Milano Rho, allowing visitors to discover the industrial supply chain through historical images of technologies, production sites and entrepreneurs who have shaped the history of our industry and ITMA.
A journey to showcase the realities that made our country a leader in the sector
With approximately 300 textile machinery companies, our country is leader in the industry, thanks to its special focus on sustainability and the innovative contribution that Italy has always offered throughout its centuries-old history. This journey aims to promote and showcase it to a broad international audience, such as that of ITMA.
