Zappa Macchine was founded in 1860 for the manufacture of silk processing machinery, and it is still a family business today. Since the 1940’s, with the first coating machine in Italy, we have specialized in the manufacturing of equipment for the textile industry, particularly for coating, laminating, calendering processes. We manufacture lines for coating and lamination of technical textiles and composites, and we are one of the leading company in the production of hot melt lamination machinery. In the year 2000 we developed the revolutionary hotmelt lamination technique for woven and knitted fabrics, films, foils, non-woven materials, foams and other materials utilizing thermoplastic polymers as well as reactive polyurethane adhesives. The knowledge in hot-melt processes allowed us to enter the market of prepreg impregnating line for composite, carbon fiber and glass fiber.
Our projects are technical and technological improvement oriented, in respect to the environment, user friendly characteristics, high standard production, reliability and easy to service characteristics.
