Stäubli Italia, based in Carate Brianza (MB), manufactures and sells worldwide Jacquard machines dedicated to the application of woven selvedges used by manufacturers of wool fabrics for high-end tailoring suits and shirts. The Jacquard range is also composed of electronic machines for needle looms to weave narrow fabrics, such as ribbons and trimmings. High-quality necessary accessory devices are also produced for small diameter circular knitting machines for socks, such as the automatic sock toe closing devices on board of the machine itself, and latest generation electronic controllers.
